High chromium cast iron

The microstructure of this material is mainly composed of martensite, austenite and carbides, which are mainly chromium carbides, giving high chromium cast iron extremely high hardness and wear resistance. High chromium cast iron is widely used in mining, cement, electric power, metallurgy and other industries for the manufacture of wear-resistant parts such as grinding balls, liners, crusher hammers, etc. Due to its excellent heat resistance and corrosion resistance, high chromium cast iron is also suitable for applications in high temperature and corrosive environments.
